Dog Day Care
The dog day care is available Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday on each week (except holidays, Thanksgiving and
Christmas week). You may drop off your dog anytime from
7:30 AM - 9:30 AM and pick up anytime from 5:30 PM - 7:00
PM. The campers will play outside or on the covered yard
depending on the weather and will alternate play time with rest
time. Rest time is very important for day care dogs so they do
not become overly tired. We can almost guarantee you that
your dog will go home tired, happy and well exercised, ready
for a quiet evening at home.
Dog day care is a much better alternative to a dog walker, who
walks your dog for 15-20 minutes in the middle of the day. If
you cannot go home around noon to walk your dog yourself or
your dog needs exercise but it is too late for the dog park when
you get home at night. Just bring your friend to The Bed and
Biscuit, they will play with other dogs in a controlled
environment, we will give your dog personal attention and a
gourmet treat between play sessions. You can go to work
knowing you four legged friend is having fun, playing with
other dogs and getting some much needed exercise instead of
sitting at home waiting for you to come home at night.
All dogs must be on a flea prevention program (flea collars are not allowed) and have the following immunizations:DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) RABIES, BORDETELLA
Your dog has to the part of your family for at least 30 days and must be neatured or spayed.
Only dogs that have passed our temperament evaluation will be allowed to attend our day camp.
As we all know dogs are pack animals, and being able to be
themselves in a safe, supervised environment is the most
meaningful gift you can give your friend. The physical, emotional,
and psychological stimulation your dog will receive is invaluable
compared to leaving him/her home alone.
We have implemented a very unique day care system, so your
pup can spend as much time outdoors as possible. The day
campers at the Bed and Biscuit spend the day running, playing,
and socializing in supervised playgroups. We have two separate
grassy play yards, totaling 1 acre, fenced around with 8’ high
security fence, also a 2500 sq’ covered yard for those rainy or
snowy days. The dogs will be given several rest times in their
private rooms between the outdoor play sessions. By rotating play
time and rest time, we ensure dogs are never overly tired or
stressed. Because each dog's personality and play style is different,
dogs are divided into small groups of no more than 10, this allows
us to give the dogs a lot more personal attention and a lot smaller
dog per handler ratio. Groups of dogs are alternated throughout
the day so each group gets individualized attention and activity
when they are out and quality rest time when they are not. Each
play session lasts 30-40 minutes, which is typically the length of
time most dogs can play before needing to rest.
